What is the difference between White Label and Private Label (ODM) sourcing? White label (OEM) involves taking an existing, pre-manufactured product and adding your own branding, logo, or custom packaging. It is generally faster and requires lower upfront costs. Private label or custom development (ODM) means manufacturing a completely new product—or making significant modifications to an existing one—based on your specific designs, materials, and formulations.
What is the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) for custom products? MOQs vary heavily depending on the product category, the factory, and the level of customization required. Simple white-labeling (like adding a printed logo to a stock item) might have an MOQ as low as 100–500 units. Full custom product development (ODM) that requires new molds or tooling generally requires higher MOQs (often 1,000 to 5,000+ units) to offset the manufacturing costs. We negotiate on your behalf to secure the lowest possible MOQs for your project.

We only partner with thoroughly vetted manufacturers who respect international IP laws.
How do you ensure the quality of my custom products? Quality control is built into every step of our process. We start by securing a "golden sample" for your approval. Once mass production begins, our on-the-ground QA team in China conducts thorough inspections during and after production to ensure the final batch matches your approved sample exactly.
Once my products are manufactured, can you help with shipping and fulfillment? Absolutely. SCMay provides an end-to-end supply chain solution. Once your custom products pass quality inspection, we can hold your inventory in our secure warehouses, prepare it for Amazon FBA, ship it in bulk via sea or air freight to your location, or integrate with your e-commerce store to dropship directly to your global customers.
